HAMDEN - Town government has launched a Small Business Sign Grant program to aid small-business owners in the Highwood neighborhood in replacing or enhancing their storefront signage. According to town officials, all businesses within the Community Development target area - Putnam Avenue south to the New Haven city line - are eligible. The program is designed top assist small-business owners with their advertising and marketing efforts as well as to enhance the streetscape.
