NEW HAVEN - Two new locally owned and operated food service establishments have opened in the ever-changing Broadway area. Whimsels at 280 York Street was created by John and Lupi Robinson. The store features various flavors of crepes filled with main-course-type ingredients representing a variety of ethnic cuisines, plus dessert items such as ice cream, fruit and choccolate.
Koffee? has opened a second store (its flagship is on Audubon Street) at 276 York Street. Owned by Lee and Tracy Jackson, Koffee? specializes in coffee and bakery products.
