Masonicare of Wallingford has named Joseph Dellapuca president of its continuing-care retirement community, Ashlar Village. Most recently, Dellapuca was chief operating officer for Whitney Lifecare Retirement Community of Hamden and has also served as chief operating officer at Arbors Lifecare Retirement Community of Manchester.

Mason & Madison Public Relations has named Jennifer Milliken senior account executive. Prior to joining M&M Milliken worked at a Connecticut high-tech public relations agency. Her experience also includes positions as an associate editor at TV Technology magazine and assistant editor of College Broadcaster magazine.

Martino & Binzer of Avon has hired Tara Gugliotti as Internet developer. She will be responsible for creating Web sites using the latest programming and scripting technologies, as well as developing other electronic marketing tools, such as interactive CD-ROMs. Previously Gugliotti designed and implemented e-commerce Web sites as director of graphic and Internet design at NRG Networks Inc. in Waterbury. She also owned terra2001 designs in Waterbury where she developed Web sites for Waterbury-based businesses.

Michael Gilhuly has joined the Design Co. of North Haven as an account executive. He will work on new business development and project management for clients in southern New England and New York. Gilhuly brings nine years' experience in corporate marketing, sales and promotional programming.

People's Bank in Bridgeport has named Alex Reznikoff vice president, information technology. He will be responsible for People's data center and production operations groups that control, schedule and operate the bank's many computer systems. Reznikoff joined People's in November 1999 as an information systems principal and has been head of the data center/operations group since last July.

Daisy Rodriguez has been named donor services officer with the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven. She will serve as a liaison between donors and fund representatives and their philanthropic interests as it relates to services provided by the foundation and the nonprofit community. Most recently Rodriguez was assistant vice president for community relations for Yale University, where she was responsible for the planning and administration of Yale University's giving program.

Gregory P. Haskins has been named project director of the New Haven Regional Contractors' Alliance Inc. Haskins formerly was president and CEO of the Meriden Community Action Agency and Meri-Weather Inc.

Cronin and Company of Glastonbury has announced the promotion of Lisa Zaccheo to senior vice president. Formerly serving as vice president and managing director, she joined the company in 1998. Zaccheo manages all aspects of the agency's direct marketing.

Dan Mezick has been named chairman of the Information Technology Committee of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce. Mezick is the president of New Technology Solutions Inc. of North Haven. Mezick has also served as Northeast regional director of Microsoft Developer Days.

Stephen M. Jakab has been named president of the Bridgeport Hospital Foundation. He was previously vice president for development at Ahlbin Rehabilitation Centers. From 1994 through 1999, Jakab served as director of development at the Fairfield College Preparatory School.

The Connecticut Seafood Council has named Barbara Gordon executive director. Gordon has been with the council since its beginnings, serving first as a member of the State Seafood Task Force, and then as an appointed member of the CSC. Gordon will serve as the first full time director of the council.

Jerome Combs, M.D. has joined the pediatric practice of Douglas J. Groome of Meriden. A practicing physician for 35 years, Combs earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University and completed both his pediatric internship and his residency at the University of Minnesota Hospitals. Combs currently served on the staffs of Yale-New Haven Hospital, the Hospital of Saint Raphael and Mid-State Medical Center, and is a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at the Yale Medical School.

The Board of Directors of PIC Design in Middletown has announced the appointment of Allen P. Nemetz to president and chief executive officers. Formerly serving as vice president of marketing where he directed the sales and merchandising programs, he came to the company from Amphenol in Danbury where he served as vice president of product marketing.
