The Connecticut chapter of the American Marketing Association has announced the winners of its third annual Mark of Excellence Awards. The awards will be presented at 5:30 p.m. March 13 at the Adams Mill Restaurant in Manchester. Winners were selected by a panel of out-of-state judges from AMA chapters nationwide, who judged entries on strategy, creativity and results. The winning campaigns, which will be displayed at the upcoming event, are:
- Aaron Wartner, Connecticut Historical Society, Marketer of the Year
- Webster Bank in the Overall Comprehensive Marketing category for its Blockbuster Checking campaign
- Cigna in the Direct Marketing category, for its Pencil's Ready campaign
- The Bus Design Co. in the Internet Marketing category for the Bridgeport Bluefish Web site
- Cox Communications in the Creativity in Marketing category for its AT&T Digital marketing campaign
- The Connecticut Economic Resource Center in the Guerrilla Marketing category for the You Belong in CT campaign.
