Verizon Expands Coverage Areas

WALLINGFORD - Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless communications provider, has expanded service coverage with new cell sites in Milford and Hamden.
The new Milford cell brings digital coverage and capacity along I-95 between Exits 33 and 38, and along Route 1. The two new cells in Hamden cover four miles along Route 10 and northern Hamden, as well as four miles the Merritt Parkway between Exit 61 and the West Rock Tunnel.
“These new cell sites provide area customers with greater wireless network coverage and increased clarity when making wireless calls across the region,” says David Heverling, Northeast area vice president of network servicesfor Verizon Wireless.
