TransAct’s Printer in Comdex Showcase

WALLINGFORD - The Ithaca POSjet 1000 inkjet printer made by TransAct Technologies Inc., a producer of transaction-based printers for customers worldwide, was selected as a showcase product in Hewlett-Packard's “The Garage” event during the world's largest computer trade show, Comdex, in November in Las Vegas.
“The Garage” is an invitation-only event held at Caesar's Palace. Attendees are senior-level officers from many of the world's largest companies.
Bart C. Shuldman, president and CEO of TransAct Technologies, says the company was “extremely honored” by the selection. “Our revolutionary inkjet technology [features] innovative color solutions for point-of-sale printing needs,” he explains.
TransAct designs, develops, manufactures and markets transaction-based printers and related products under the Ithaca, Magnetec and Transact.com brand names.
