Useful, real-life education on issues every bold entrepreneur faces in building a technology company is the objective of the Rising Star business education seminar series, sponsored by the Connecticut Technology Council.
The seminars, which take place at Fairfield University and the New Haven Lawn Club in New Haven, cover everything from financing to hiring to keeping good people, product branding and marketing, managing growth and Internet strategies. All program topics will be covered at both locations on an alternating schedule throughout 2001.
Participants will get first-hand information on world-class experiences from the professional, financial and academic communities, receive in-depth coverage of today's technology business needs and cover key developmental issues for each stage of the business lifecycle.
Seminars scheduled for February include Maintaining Liquidity and Developing Effective Process/Infrastructure. Maintaining Liquidity will be presented by Ernst & Young and Shipman & Goodwin at the New Haven Lawn Club, 193 Whitney Avenue, New Haven, on February 6 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Developing Effective Process/Infrastructure, to be presented by the Impact Group, will be held at Fairfield University, North Benson Road, Fairfield, February 13 from 8 a.m. to noon.
