Another Bank For Milford

MILFORD - A downtown bank building left vacant following the merger of Fleet and BankBoston is gaining a new tenant. New Haven Savings Bank will become the fifth bank on the Milford Green when it moves into the former BankBoston building on Broad Street. BankBoston closed the branch after Fleet purchased the company.
NHSB already has one Milford location, on the Boston Post Road. Other banks on the Green include People's Bank, Fleet, Milford Bank and Webster Bank. The date for opening the new branch has not yet been determined. The building is owned by Smith Craft Real Estate Corp.
