TRUMBULL - The Kennedy Center, one of the largest rehabilitation agencies in Connecticut, recently received one of the highest inspection scores in the country during the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development's (HUD) first-ever nationwide inspection of all 29,000 HUD-assisted multifamily housing complexes. The Kennedy Center, along with 1,000 others, received a special recognition award. The center was the only agency in the Bridgeport area and one of nine HUD properties in Connecticut that qualified for the honor. The Kennedy Center's residential division serves more than 94 individuals with disabilities in 14 area residential facilities and supported-living options.
