New Web Site for BERC

BRIDGEPORT - The Bridgeport Economic Resource Center (BERC) has launched a new and improved web site. The site, www.bridgeport-econ.org, has been updated to reflect the information needs of area businesses and businesses considering a Bridgeport location. Information on business resources is featured, including incentive programs, technical assistance and site-location assistance. Businesses can submit their space requirements via email, and BERC will search its database, which contains information on buildings and land represented by a number of local Realtors and owners.
The site also contains a cost-comparison section which allows businesses in certain industries such as computer services, plastics, publishing and pharmaceuticals to compare costs of doing business in Connecticut vs. a number of nearby states. New links have been added as well to the municipal Web sites for Bridgeport and the surrounding towns, Bridgeport-area attractions and BERC's funding partners' Web sites.
