SHELTON - Corporate Management Solutions Inc., a provider of equity compensation management software and services solutions, has changed its name to Transcentive Inc.
“The name change reflects the company's continued growth and future business direction, as well as the addition of value-added products and areas of service including plan administration and data hosting,” said Transcentive President and CEO Les Trachtman.
The 20-year-old company provides stock-option and stock purchase plan software and services, including in-house plan administration. Headquartered in Shelton, it also has an office in San Ramon, Calif.
“Our objective is to become the standard electronic transaction and information exchange between option holders and broker/dealers,” Trachtman said. “We believe that our standing market share among broker/dealers, coupled with our increasing market share among public and pre-IPO companies, will establish Transcentive as the natural choice of exchange for these transactions.”
