NEW HAVEN - DSL.net Inc., a direct provider of high-speed Internet access solutions for small and mid-sized businesses, last month received competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) authority in Alaska. With this approval, DSL.net is authorized to provide communications services in all 50 states plus the District of Columbia. The company also announced that it provides high speed broadband service in all the states of the continental U.S.
Said DSL.net CEO and Chairman David Struwas: DSL.net has now completed part of its broadband mission. With the Alaska authorization, we continue to execute on our strategy of providing true business-class DSL and Internet services to areas all across the country, including many currently underserved. We are committed not only to providing outstanding and reliable service to our customers who rely on our high-speed connectivity for their important business processes, but to grow our menu of value-added services along with their business needs.
