NEW HAVEN - Metaserver, a developer of business process-integration (BPI) software, has announced that the Phoenix Companies (NYSE: PNX), a provider of wealth management products and services to individuals and institutions, has signed an enterprise license agreement to use Metaserver technology.
Metaserver's integration software is designed to help financial services companies with complex systems and processes to take advantage of systems that are already in place by automating and managing businesses processes across their enterprise and the Internet.
Said Robert Fiondella, Phoenix chairman and CEO, It is critical for Phoenix to have the ability to automate manual business processes that are otherwise time-consuming and expensive to execute.
Metaserver's modeling environment increases collaboration to accelerate new services, streamline operations, reduce operating costs and improve responsiveness to customer demands, say company officials. Using Metaserver's visual modeling feature, business managers can invoke business process requests in real-time.
