HAMDEN - A.M. Castaldi of Hamden has opened a new consulting and training practice. AMC Associates will specialize in manufacturing and industrial technical skills training. Castaldi says he has devised an in-house program to meet the training requirements of today's complex manufacturing systems.
Castaldi has experience as a tool-die manager, manufacturing engineer and vocational-technical instructor specializing in manufacturing.
“The trainees I have had the privilege of training in various manufacturing companies realize the importance training has on their performance in the company, and this personal desire for training creates the dynamics of their skills upgrading,” Castaldi says. “I have followed up on their training and found a 75 to 80 percent retention rate after six months.”
