| BRANFORD - Studio Gallery & Seminar Center has opened at 195 South Montowese Street. Owned by Kathleen Deyo, a muralist, she does consultations in the morning along with conducting faux finish workshops. Deyo also does intuitive readings during morning hours at the studio, something she has been doing for 20 years. The gallery is open from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Artists from Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York are represented, with works including paintings, sculptures, jewelry, pottery and other crafts. During December the gallery will be devoted to angels, most of which have been created by Deyo. Some are clay masks, some are made of wire, there are paintings and papier maché angels plus notecards. A few angels have been created by local artists. The gallery also sells artist's work on the Web at www.studiogallery&seminarcenter.com. On evenings daily except Sunday a variety of workshops are held for adults and children. The eclectic selection includes everything from anger-management workshops, talks on nutrition to classes on African drumming. For more information, call 203-315-7730.
