FAIRFIELD - United Auto Group Inc., one of the largest publicly held auto dealers in the nation, has acquired Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen dealerships owned Continental Motors Inc. The dealerships will be renamed Mercedes-Benz of Fairfield, Audi of Fairfield, Porsche of Fairfield and Volkswagen of Fairfield. Combined, they are expected to add some $125 in annual revenue to the United top line. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
