TransAct Snags NCR Contract

WALLINGFORD - TransAct Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: TACT), which produces transaction-based printers, has entered into a three-year master purchase agreement with NCR Corp. (NYSE: NCR), renewable thereafter for single-year increments. Under agreed-upon terms, NCR has the option to purchase TransAct's Ithaca POSjet 1000 inkjet printer and future inkjet printers now under development. Financial terms were not disclosed. TransAct focuses on five vertical markets: point-of-sale (POS), gaming and lottery, financial services, kiosk and Internet.
