WATERBURY - The Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce is offering a job-posting service in partnership with NationJob. According to the chamber, businesses large and small can post unlimited job-opening advertisements in a year at reasonable rates. The cost for an organization with fewer that 25 employees is $300 annually. In order to take advantage of the low rate, businesses must be members of the chamber.
Job postings will be listed on a Waterbury community page on the NationJob Web and will be accessible through the Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce Web site and well as NationJob. Openings will also be cross-posted to America's Job Bank, Alta Vista Careers, Prohire and Yahoo. The Waterbury community page will feature links to corporate sponsors in the Waterbury region as well as links to information about the area that will be live on the chamber's redesigned Web site, to be launched shortly. The chamber plans to hold an information session at 8 a.m., November 3 at the chamber's office at 83 Bank Street. Their Web address is www.waterburychamber.org.
