WEST HAVEN - Bayer Corp. announced that its antibiotic Avelox (moxifloxacin hydrochloride) has exceeded two million patient uses worldwide since it was launched in Germany in September 1999. In addition, on September 19 of this year, the company submitted to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) an extensive analysis affirming the safety of Avelox.
