Sikorsky Gets Euro Order

STRATFORD - The Austrian government has chosen Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. over a prominent European competitor to supply nine helicopters for utility transport and search-and-rescue missions.
Sikorsky hopes to have a contract for the nine S-70A Black Hawk helicopters within a few months, according to published reports. The Austrian defense ministry's Web site values the sale at 2.9 billion Austrian schillings, or an estimated $184 million.
