Olin, Occidental Quit Partnership Talks

NORWALK - Olin Corp. (NYSE: OLN) announced that due to regulatory and other issues it has discontinued discussions with Occidental Petroleum (NYSE: OXY) regarding a chlor-alkali partnership. Olin also said that its own chlor-akali business, which makes chlorine, hydroxide and caustic soda, is improving.
