NEW HAVEN - ICONN.NET, a New HavenISP, has released SPAMFREE.NET, which uses advanced filtering techniques to identify messages that are likely to be unsolicited commercial e-mail. This filtering takes place when the e-mail arrives at the mail server, so the subscriber does not have to download the junk e-mail. SPAMFREE.NET subscribers are able to select which filters they wish to use. Messages that trigger the selected filters are trapped for later review if desired. Trapped messages may be moved to the subscriber's mail box and the sender may be added to the subscriber's Whitelist, or the message can be deleted. If the subscriber takes no action at all, trapped messages will be deleted automatically.
