Packard BioScience Acquires GSLI Life Sciences

MERIDEN - Packard BioScience Co. (NASDAQ: PBSC) announced that it had completed its acquisition of the GSLI Life Sciences division of GSI Lumonics Inc. for $40 million in cash and about 4.6 million shares of Packard BioScience common stock. In the transaction, Packard BioScience acquired a line of imaging products as well as bioinformatics software from GSLI Life Sciences.
