WALLINGFORD - Late this month or in early October the Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA) is expected to begin offering online health-care education to professionals. The CHA's 22 hospitals are partnering with the American Hospital Association to create CareLearning.com, a new Web site designed to provide online access to continuing education for health-care professionals.
“This is definitely the wave of the future” in health-care education, says Deborah Hoyt, the CHA's vice president of public affairs and education. It will allow studying to be done conveniently at home, she explains, and support existing CHA education.
