WATERBURY - The first free-standing joint-venture cancer center in Connecticut not located at a hospital facility is being planned by Waterbury Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital, also in Waterbury. Pending design and zoning approvals, construction of the center could begin by next spring at 1039 Chase Parkway in Waterbury.
Under one roof, it will bring together many services, including radiation therapy, medical oncology, nursing, clinical research, preventive screening, nutrition programs, support groups and other services.
