NEW HAVEN - Yale-New Haven Hospital has been ranked among the nation's top hospitals, according to the annual ranking of America's Best Hospitals by U.S. News and World Report. It's the only Connecticut hospital to be listed. YNHH was cited for 12 of 17 specialties, an increase from the 1999 ranking when nine specialties were cited. Rated tops were the hospital's programs in cancer, cardiology and cardiac surgery, gastroenterology, geriatrics, gynecology, hormonal disorders, kidney disease, neurology and neurosurgery, otolaryngology, psychiatry, respiratory diseases and urology.
