NEW HAVEN - Ashley Stewart Women has opened at 866-868 Church Street (corner of Chapel) in New Haven, at the site formerly occupied by Strawberries Records & Tapes. Owned by Joe Sitt, it is one a number of Ashley Stewart stores located throughout Connecticut. Specializing in plus sizes for women, the shop carries contemporary clothing such as animal prints, leather, denim and separates. It also carries a variety of accessories. Ashley Stewart Clothing is open from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. weekdays, and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
