| MINNEAPOLIS - A unit of Waterbury-based MacDermid Inc. (NYSE: MRD), MacDermid Graphic Arts, a printing plate and printing blanket supplier, has closed the acquisition of ColorSpan for $50 million. MacDermid Graphic Arts has annual sales of more than $280 million, while ColorSpan has sales of $70 million. ColorSpan is a supplier of digital printing systems.
