| ORANGE - The developer of Christmas Tree Plaza in Orange has sold the 136,000-square-foot retail facility for $14 million. The buyer was the Florham Park, N.J.-based Kushner Companies, which purchased the four-year-old shopping center from developer Beckinstein Enterprises of Hartford. The 100-percent-occupied center houses the Christmas Tree Shop, On the Border Café and other stores. Kushner owns several million feet of office, commercial and industrial space, and has begun to penetrate the residential market as well. According to published reports, the privately owned firm owns and manages more than 15,000 apartment units throughout the Northeast.
