FAIRFIELD - The town's Plan & Zoning Commission has approved plans for a 21,000-square-foot retail facility near the former Steinbach department store on Black Rock Turnpike. No tenants have yet been identified for the site, which is owned by Southport attorney Albert Kleban. The former Steinbach is being renovated to house a series of stores under the Gap flag, including Gap Kids, Baby Gap, Gap Body and plain old Gap Gap.
