Celera Genomics, Geron To Collaborate

ROCKVILLE, Md. - Celera Genomics Group (NYSE: CRA), a business of PE Corp. and Geron Corp. (NASDAQ: GERN), has entered into a collaboration agreement that will take advantage of Celera's gene-discovery and sequencing strengths and Geron's expertise in human stem-cell biology. Geron plans to develop drugs and gene therapy products while Celera will map the human genome and develop probe sets for the analysis of gene expression.
