OLD SAYBROOK - Hair salon Shear Madness, for 18 years housed at 352 Middlesex Turnpike, has moved to the Old Saybrook Shopping Center. Explains owner Beth Daly Spitale: “The shop has grown. The new location allows for expanded services and better-than-ever retail hair care products.” Working with Beth Ramm, an art teacher at Kathleen E. Goodwin Elementary School, Spitale assembled dozens of artworks produced by the students to cover her windows while construction was underway. In exchange, Spitale pledged a donation to the school's art program.
