Businesses interested in participating in the Connecticut Small & Minority Business Showcase, sponsored by the Secretary of the State's office, should contact Harlan O. Henry, constituent aide for the Secretary of the State's office and showcase coordinator at 860-509-6258.. The event will include an exhibition of goods and services produced by New Haven-area businesses and a series of workshops on issues faced by small businesses. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. August 31 at the United States Postal Service, 50 Brewery St., New Haven. Exhibitors spaces are $25.
The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce's Southern Connecticut Business Expo will be take place October 18 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New Haven. Corporate sponsor is DSL.net. Seminars will be presented by Business New Haven. Businesses interested in participating should contact Marc Sherer, Event Management, at 860-232-6230.
