MONROE - Fleet Financial Corp. has provided a $19 million revolving credit line to NoteSys, LLC to provide seasonal working capital needs. NoteSys is a computer reseller that has carved a niche by servicing almost exclusively K-12 schools interested in implementing laptop computer programs. NoteSys purchases laptops (including software and wireless networking) in an “educational bundle” and offers turnkey installation at a price roughly equivalent to if the schools purchased the equipment directly. The firm's value-added services include teacher technical assessments, computer imaging, ordering and delivery logistics, “out of the box” night delivery and instruction as well as training and support. With sales of about $10 million in 1999, NoteSys projects revenues of $50 million during the present year.
