Store Reopens Following Fire

MILFORD - There's no stopping Marti Reed, not even a fire. The owner of the Canvas Patch has reopened her 5 River Street shop. Previously located on Broad Street, the Canvas Patch was destroyed by fire in February, along with two other businesses. The shop carries gift items, Russian stacking dolls and Christmas decorations. The shop's blue awning and windsocks were part of the Milford streetscape for 23 years and Reed, happy with her new and airy space, is determine to continue the tradition.
