Stanley Works Announces Dividend, Stock Repurchase

| NEW BRITAIN - Directors of the Stanley Works (NYSE: SWK) declared a regular dividend for the second quarter of 22 cents per common share. This is the 421st consecutive quarter cash dividend paid by the company - a record for New York Stock Exchange-listed industrial companies. The company also said that its directors had authorized the repurchase of up to ten million shares of the company's common stock from time to time.
