CLINTON - The Nike Factory Store at Clinton Crossing has stepped up as corporate sponsor of the Regional Workforce Development Board's Summer Jobs for Youth 2000 program. Since 1982, the jobs initiative has provided summer work for more than 25,000 young people. Businesses can provide a summer job for a pre-screened young people or make a tax-deductible donation to the program. Each $1,000 raised will pay one young worker's wages for a summer job at a non-profit organization or public-sector work site. Want to explore angel-hood? Call 203-624-1493, ext. 233.
