Novametrix Completes Private Placement

WALLINGFORD - Novametrix Medical Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: NMTX) announced the completion of a private equity placement with GE Medical Systems Inc. (NYSE: GE). In the $3 million deal, Novametrix issued 250,000 units at $12 per share. The units consist of two shares of common stock with a five-year warrant for the purchase of one share of common stock at $7.50 per share. The equity placement is part of a strategic alliance between the two companies.
