Vion Warrant Redemption Period Expires

NEW HAVEN - Vion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: VION) announced that the redemption period for its Class A warrants expired at 5 p.m. March 10. The company said that 90 percent of the outstanding 1.19 million Class A warrants were exchanged for 1.07 million shares of common stock along with 1.07 million Class B warrants. Proceeds to the company were about $4.71 million.
