PE Corp. Plans Offering of Celera Shares

ROCKVILLE Md. - PE Corp (NYSE: PEB) announced plans to offer shares of its operating group, Celera Genomics (NYSE: CRA) in a followup public offering. The 3.8 million shares offered will be priced at $225 per share, with proceeds expected to reach about $820 million. Proceeds will be used to fund Celera's product research and general corporate purposes, which may include acquisitions and other collaborations.
