Amphenol Teams with MEC

WALLINGFORD - Amphenol Corp. (NYSE: APH) has partnered with Molecular Electronic Corp. (MEC) of Houston, Tex. in a joint commercial evaluation of molecular electronic passive and active interconnects. “Thanks to the foundational and broad-ranging patents in molecular electronics that MEC controls, as well as our numerous patents for specific product applications, we are pleased to be working with Amphenol to accelerate our evaluation of molecular electronics to interconnects,” said MEC co-founder James Tour.
Amphenol is a producer of electronic and fiber optic connectors, cable and interconnect systems.
