NEW HAVEN - Vion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: VION) has received a $750,000 Small Business Innovation & Research (SBIR) grant from the National Institute of Health (NIH)/National Cancer Institute (NCI) for investigation of use of bacterial vectors and study of its TAPET technology. The company received an initial $100,000 grant in 1998 from NIH/NCI.
