BRANFORD - People's Bank has opened its newest supermarket branch in the remodeled Leetes Island Super Stop & Shop at 22 Leetes Island Road. The new office complements the People's branch at 500 East Main Street and doubles People's branch presence in Branford. Grand opening specials include an offer of free checking for six months plus $50 in free checks and an offer of a $10 Stop & Shop coupon.
The new office will be open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, until 4 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.
