Court Says OK to ATM Fees

HARTFORD - Following a decision by the Connecticut Supreme Court, banks in this state may now charge ATM fees to non-customers. First Union and Fleet had contested the ban with the argument that the fees were necessary to cover installation and maintenance costs of ATMs.
