CHARLOTTE, N.C. - First Union Securities Inc., a subsidiary of First Union Corp. (NYSE: FTU), has announced expansion of its Business & Consumer Services Investment Banking Group as a result of its merger with EVEREN Capital Corp. The Business & Consumer Services Group has offices in Chicago, Charlotte and Philadelphia and analysts in Cleveland and Richmond.
