Coynes at the Red Barn prides itself on being one-stop shopping, offering a wide selection of children's items, gifts, Christmas items, party goods, cards and hard-to-find music boxes. A new addition is jewelry and fashion accessories as well as Dale of Norway sweaters for men and women. The Christmas Shop, open year-round, offers a variety of decorations such as Christopher Radko ornaments and Byers Choice Carolers. Hand-painted glass ornaments done by Austrian art students are among the more unusual selections. Elegant tree skirts are another specialty.
A separate room houses shelves lined with creative and education children's toys. Muffy Vander Bears sit next to their companion animal, Hoppy the rabbit, and both come dressed with a variety of separate outfits available. Upstairs offers a wide selection of children's books. The store also creates gift baskets with gourmet foods.
