| CHESHIRE - Matt Eigner, owner of the Merry Maids franchise, recently earned the Award of Excellence at the 1999 Merry Maids International Convention. The award is based on leadership, business information and financial management, recruitment and people development, business management and operations, marketing and sales and customer service. Eigner ranked among the top five Merry Maids franchises for 1999. He also received the Ambassador Circle Award given to a franchise owner for achieving a high sales level five times during the previous year. Merry Maids supplies customized residential cleaning services. The Cheshire franchise opened in 1991.
