Connecticut Water Utility Service Inc. Moves To Acquire Moles Enviornmental Services Inc.

CLINTON - Connecticut Water Utility Services Inc. (CWUS), a subsidiary of Connecticut Water Services Inc. (Nasdaq:CTWS), has reached agreement to acquire Moles Environmental Services Inc. (MES) of Taunton, Mass.
MES is a provider of environmental services including consulting, training, and contract operations of water and wastewater treatment systems in Massachusetts. Their lists of clients include the town of Sandwich, Mass., wastewater facilities and the Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Mass.
MES employs nine permanent full-time and part-time employees and had gross revenues of $288,000 in 2001. The business office located in Taunton will be relocated to The Barnstable Water Co, which was acquired by Connecticut Water Service last year, in Barnstable, Mass.
CWUS operates ten privately owned and municipal wastewater systems in Connecticut.
