John S. Taylor, vice president of research at the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) based in the Washington, D.C. area, last month gave an industry update to Connecticut Venture Capital members in Hartford. Taylor is responsible for developing and overseeing association data and research efforts. He joined the NVCA in 1996 and is frequently quoted by major newspapers and magazines on the subject of venture capital and private equity and has recently provided live commentary on CNBC, CNNfn, Bloomberg radio and National Public Radio's Morning Edition.
Taylor spoke on the DRI-WEFA Study Commissioned by NVCA. DRI-WEFA was created by the integration of DRI and WEFA, two of the most respected economic information companies in the world.
