Caterer Receives Business Award

SHELTON - David M. Grant, president of David M. Grant Caterers, has received the Sam Walton Business Leader Award sponsored by the Wal-Mart Foundation. The awards were established to recognize local business people who best exemplify the principles of the late Sam Walton, founder of Wal-Mart stores. As part of the award a $500 grant was donated to the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce to support various chamber programs. David Grant Caterers was founded in 1974. Grant, an active participant in the community, is president of the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley.
